I’m a casual once or twice a week commuter cyclist in NI who uses a mountain bike on mixed terrain – just to keep fit as I really enjoy cycling. I bought this a few weeks ago to keep the cold out after being SUPER impressed with the deep winter gloves (they are awesome). This top does not disappoint – sizing is accurate, very comfortable, cold well and truly kept out, doesn’t ride up when you are moving (I did 10 miles in about 2 degrees Centigrade last week and my core was toasty!). VERY bright yellow which is great IMHO and light materials but comfortable – I shall be wearing this for the next few months I think – Well done again Galibier, another well thought out great value product.

Used three times now. First time in about 1-3c I needed a thin base layer and jersey underneath but I was cycling with a slow group so didn’t ever work up any heat. The second time in 6-7c at a moderate pace I only needed a thin base layer to keep warm. The ability to zip it up so high meant I dispensed with the usual ‘Buff’ around my neck. Ventilation is easy using the zip and I had no issues controlling my temperature. Seems pretty windproof too. The third time it was 8-10c and I had a thin merino top underneath and was getting warm on the hills. Again, I could ventilate easily and on the downhills I quickly zipped up again. Any warmer than 10c and I would possibly wear something lighter than this jacket. Pockets are roomy. It feels good to wear. I took an XL and am 42 inch chest and 11.5 stone. I could probably get inside a large if I wanted a tighter fit as it is super stretchy. Very happy with this jacket.

Worn twice now and very happy with the performance. Nice mid weight outer layer for those crisp but not Siberian mornings. High visibility with off centre zip, tight cuffs and ample rear pocketing make for expensive quality at inexpensive prices.

another great jacket to add to collection of Galibier clothing
Used 2 or 3 times now & keeps me just right temperature wise when I know it’s not going to rain
