£66.25

A versatile cycling jersey to keep you warm when training in all weathers.

With only a light base layer, you can ride with comfort. A jersey that lets you click in to your pedals under threatening clouds, without a worry. The technical material will block fierce north winds and keep you warm in long races or longer days

Unbelievable Foul weather Jersey. Had this on 2 days now with the rain and wind- who needs a rain coat #justajersey #galibiervelo”

The material is now DWR treated before production, giving the material a lasting water shedding treatment. The goal of this jersey is to keep you warm while riding in ALL conditions and the latest Mistral does this seamlessly. The soft-shell is water resistant, but due to the superior body stretch of the material, the seams cannot be internally taped, so in a downpour, the rain will eventually get through. The magic of the Sentinel is that you will not get cold, being 100% windproof and with a breathable rating of over 10,000. But remember – It’s just a jersey.

Use with only a base layer from 7 to 16 degreesC.

One of our riders who used it on a recent event describes it best :

“I had a warm chest, on a fast descent, in a thunderstorm…unreal”

Sizing guide

The garment is designed to be neat fitting and only requires a thin base layer next to the skin. These are new generation fabrics, so we need to reconsider how we dress for conditions. This requires no extra layering in wind or rain.  If you want a looser fit or plan to wear more garments underneath, please size up.

“Im 34 waist and 42 chest and the XL was a Great fit”–   Mark

First ride today. 14c, no baselayer, jersey performed great, didn’t feel the wind and when the rain came it just beaded on the jersey. Great product again Galibier and great price. Still can’t find the advertised chest phone pocket though . #itsjustajersey

Arrived and have used on two rides in fine Scottish summer, fine up to 16c any more it would be too warm but ideal for the 10c start on a cool damp early morning ride. Feels similar and perhaps a little heavier than my Gabba jersey… No bad thing if it performs the same, so far so good. Stitching not as neat but feels durable enough, fabric itself is obviously quality stuff though. Red colour looks great. I went for a medium as was close to upper limit of small. To be honest the fit was a bit like my equipe jersey… Could not go much closer around waist and middle but a little bit loose in chest, shoulder and sleeve… This is only downside for me, I’m a fairly slim cyclist with the usual narrow chest and arms that go with long days in saddle. If you want it fitted you need to up your arm game and get that chest expanded! But that being said, I don’t intend to race in this so a little space around shoulders and chest is no harm. There is a little stretch in material but not like lycra so I’d definitely not size down. Overall a great price for a jersey that is all intents and purposes up for the same conditions as the famous Italian but a little fitting quirk to bear in mind. Looks superb mind you.
