Gino Pro Wind Jacket (XS+S)

Our Gino Pro is defined by a striking Full reflective, off set zip. The Zip bisects UPF200 Windstop fabric by Miti. This Italian technical, the highest thread count, material they offer, is then laminated they offer making it 100% windproof. We also use UPF for the sleeves but have added a 20mm lycra vent, to perfect the fit and thermoregulation.

“my favourite training jacket”  Ellen.

Like our Gino Light jacket, the use of materials is structured to the direction you travel on the bike. We use lighter fabrics at the rear protecting the rider from both the cold, North winds of March and overheating in summer evenings. The Double cuff and high neck eliminate all drafts. The 3 rear pockets are only for essential spares and valuables and will sit secure with a 4-way stretch pocket fabric. Machine washable and we think, a smooth design this coming season.

Bought this jacket a couple of weeks ago in the sale, The quality is outstanding for the price, I have been using it on early morning rides around 8 to 10 degrees, kept me nice and warm without over heating even on big climbs, just used a thin base layer underneath, also held up nicely in the rain showers and dried again quickly, does what it says keeps the wind off you, the medium fits me nice and snug, could probably gone with a large, I am 5 11″ and chest is around 38″, cannot recommend it enough, especially for the money.

Couldn’t ask for more from this jacket, on several rides it has performed beyond expectations. Lightweight and comfortable and more importantly does the job it’s designed to do, protecting you from the wind. I’ve been out in damp 10C conditions with just this and a short sleeve base layer and it kept me warm, no doubt with a long sleeve base layer you could comfortably go out on much colder conditions. Highly recommend.

Received the item quick and great customer service. Fits perfectly, very nice quality and protects from wind. Great breathing as well. My first order from Galibier, highly recommend!

Got this jacket around September 2019. Was slightly sceptical about how could it would be when I opened the package ,seen it was so light and despite all the good reviews on this site and others . Oh boy, how my doubts were dispelled .brilliant jacket. Keeps you warm and dry and you only need a decent under garment underneath. Plus, is looks nice . It is nice and snug without being clingy and tight or baggy , just right . Pretty good in showers so no complaint.

    Overall pleased with this jacket.
The arms are a little bit short, but the large size fits me reasonably well. It’s not clingy tight, but not baggy either – plenty of space for some thicker layers under there if I need them.
It performs well in the cold (6 hours in 5C and below with a long sleeve top underneath) without being too hot, and even sheds light rain/showers. It’s not waterproof, but you can appreciate the fact the windproofing still gives some protection when it’s wet.

A fantastic piece of kit, excellent with a just a base layer underneath in this current version of an Irish spring. It has also dealt well with several showers encountered so far this year, If you have got this far and are considering purchasing the Gino, you can go ahead and get one.

I love this jacket. Have worn with Merino baselayers underneath and that is more than enough. The collar is excellent at keeping wind out and if it gets too hot the zip at the angle works brilliantly to let air in. Highly recommend along with all Galibier stuff

Ok so first up, sorry Galibier I bought mine off eBay (budgetary restraints). But this means nothing in saying how great this jacket is! The last couple of weeks as the weather has got warmer but still gusty and with a wind chill this has been perfect with just a short sleeve underneath. Keeps the wind chill off the chest and arms, but not boil in the bag at all. Another great Galibier, amazing value, as all their products are (I have another jacket, gloves and neck warmers of theirs). Bravo

Just like its predecessor, an awesome piece of kit. Light yet protective, functional yet stylish. A great 3 season garment, or extra base layer for a crisp dry winters day. 5 stars….

this jacket lives up to all its technical aspirations, and more. Great fit, great material, and great windproof skills. Before being deployed at -3c fitted snug in rear pocket. Get one.
