AirFlow Oversocks

13 samples in the making and a year to perfect our AeroFlow speed overshoes.

Exceptionally light and featuring surface-smoothing fabric on the shoe section, that fits close, with Zero seams, eliminating drag and giving air nothing to cling to.  Developed for speed and performance the PU fabric smooths out your shoe shapes into a regular aero form.

On the leg, internally flat stitched to the shoe, the AirFlow rises up to the full calf muscle with a high thread count lycra to be super smooth. A flat gripper at the top holds it in place while four heat-applied, silicone seams are exactly placed by our partner factory and researchers to detach airflow hitting the vertical and semi vertical leg during the pedalling motion. The effect of the vertical strips is converting air that hits your lower leg from laminar into a turbulent flow earlier, thereby encouraging the air to cling to the leg longer before separating. In short, it means the AirFlow are designed to reduce full body profile drag and save you watts.

Only in stunning black.

I wear size 44 shoes, size 10 and bought the size L but in hindsight I should have went for the M instead. I don’t exactly have skinny legs but when on they feel like they are just gripping my calf and no more and as such I wouldn’t chance riding with them in damp weather. I really would have liked them a bit tighter. I’m not exactly sold on the aero gains over other aero type overshoes and there are a number of TT’s where technically I’m banned from wearing them as they are deemed too high. Fine for most CTT races and club time trials though.
